Life can be a hard gig. We as humans tend to live our lives planning and scheming when we can blow off the 40 hour plus work week and jump in the Jeep and drive off into the abyss looking for relaxation, excitement, mystery and relief from stress, strain, worry, fear and so much more. Many of us cannot afford to own a really nice jeep to drive off in, let alone the money and time it takes to get away and have a nice vacation. So when we need to get away because our stress load from our present or our pasts is just way too much we will vacation in other ways. We will check in to our checking out on a regular, maybe even daily basis.

Checking out can come in many forms. It can be drinking and drugging. Shopping is a favorite check out for many and can be in- store or on-line.  We can get literally all wrapped up in sex. The world right now is obsessed with sex, sexuality, being sexy and so on. We can use food as a drug of choice. Sugar usage is astronomical in our society. We can and literally do anything and everything obsessively and compulsively to not feel and when we do this we become addicted to the thing or behavior that temporarily takes the edge off of life being so darn hard. That addiction then rules us and makes life even more stressful causing us an even bigger need to try to get away.  The cycle just balloons and compounds.

Unfortunately, those very things that help us take the edge off become the things that add more suffering and pain to our lives. When we drink/shop/sex/drug/game/etc/etc too much we harm our health, we check out and avoid our intuition or what I call our “God nudges.” We literally then become out of touch with who we really are. We lose our authenticity and our sense of connection to our true magnificence, our gifts and God-given talents. We may still be successful in the things that we do but we will be missing a big piece of the puzzle.  Do you remember that feeling when you spent hours working a 1000-piece puzzle and only to find at the very end that you were missing one or two pieces of the puzzle?  How disappointing was that?  Put away the modge podge, this baby is not gluing material.  Back in the box the pieces went never to be looked at again. This is a good analogy of what we do with parts of ourselves. This is when our abundance in all ways is robbed or taken from us. Did you know that doing and being what you love brings abundance in all ways?

My analogy may be corny but I think you get what I am saying here. The suffering comes in the lack of really connecting to your own soul so that you can feel that strong sense of self-love, the sense of deep contentment that nobody or no one can take away from us. The pieces of the puzzle that is you and your life come together to make a really amazing picture that is complete and fulfilling. That feeling that is so stable that even if you were living in a box under a bridge you would still feel that sense of amazement, wonder and confidence at the beauty of yourself and your placement in the world and with your higher power. That my friends is enlightenment. That is what we are here to work towards. We are here to be on the learning journey of growth and ascension to the most amazing and best version of ourselves that we can grow into. These things that numb us out and dim our sparkle are those things that slow our journey down and rob us of our growth, connection and fire. We are suffering and we may not even know it.

Being our best selves is our best defense from a very scary, dangerous and unpredictable life. When you are your best self, you are hooked up so you get those nudges I mentioned earlier that can now be literally profound downloads of world and life changing information and ideas.  It could be a hit that you need to take a different route so that you miss having an accident. It could direct you to that different route so that you can meet an amazing person that will gift you with an amazing life changing opportunity, that is where the magic truly lies. Your life can change immensely one way or another in just a moment. We have to stop trying not to feel.  Feelings are our internal guidance system and without them we will stay in crappy situations and do things, be things, say things, think things and endure things that are not for us and who we truly are or supposed to be. We will miss the boat when it comes into the harbor to pick us up and truly take us to our sweet vacation spot. That spot of totally and truly knowing, being, doing and thriving in our best selves.

For many these words may sound like blah blah blah as this concept may not even be on your radar.  If it is not or even if it is but just out of reach, I encourage you to start removing those things in your life that take you away from your truth. Put your toe in the water and start to unthaw those feelings and know that they are temporary and releasing that old pain, those old feelings around messages of being less than or not good enough is just programming that does not belong with you, to you or for you. You can truly let them go!

That really is what we run from when we disconnect on our mini little vacations. We are running from feeling. Feeling is a gift. When we feel we learn, we grow, we have aha moments, we connect and have truly intimate moments with ourselves and others, we touch our own souls, we feel God, we transform and begin to ascend to a better more vibrant version of ourselves and that in turn helps the greater good for us all.

Running from something is only a temporary fix.  When you run from something instead of stopping and meeting it face on, eye-to-eye, it is still left out there only to meet again somewhere else. Eventually we will meet that something but over time that something will be bigger and darker and the situation and surroundings will be too.  This will leave you with having to meet up with this something when it is big and dark and is also in a big dark alley. It is best to meet it early when it is smaller and more doable. When it is a simple quicker meeting with a quicker easier resolution.  Our pain, trauma and experiences are from the past. The past cannot hurt us unless we run and stumble from it. If we meet it face-to-face and deal with it, feel it and release it we truly can banish it to the past. This gives you a brighter, clearer and better feeling present and future where you can create your now and in the moment life in a way where it can feel like that vacation you long for.  If you are like me, wanting and working at creating my heaven on earth space now.

What you resist persists.  What you face transforms.  There are very powerful and effective ways to deal with this old stuff, which is just energy and be done with it for good. The Trailblazing Communications Whole Life System is what I have created and use for myself, my family and fur companions to help us just let things go.  This system is easy and affordable to use and was created to help us all have a little more Heaven on Earth. You can check it out at https://www.trailblazingcommunications.com.

I want to leave you with one of my favorite quotes from Marianne Williamson, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. You’re playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
